This 2016 Maverick 18 HPX-V is a fiberglass flats boat built for shallow-water fishing and day use. At just over 18 feet long with a 6-foot-7-inch beam, the hull delivers stability and responsiveness whether poling or running, with shallow draft suited to backcountry work and sandbar exploring. The single Mercury 150 hp engine powers the boat while maintaining the shallow water capability the design is known for.
The boat carries a suite of fishing electronics and systems: a Simrad 12-inch NSS evo3 chartplotter with XM weather and Sirius music integration, Mercury VesselView 502 engine monitoring, and a Minn Kota 24-volt Riptide Terrova trolling motor. An 8-foot power pole and Sea Deck non-skid decking complete the working setup. Three new batteries and a Noco 30-amp charger handle electrical needs.
The Mercury 150 received a 300-hour service recently and carries an extended manufacturer warranty through March 2025. An Ameritrail trailer is included with the boat.
