2016 Nitro Z20

The 2016 Nitro Z20 is a 20-foot bay boat powered by a Mercury 250 PRO XS 2-stroke outboard with 144 hours on the engine. The hull employs Nitro's Vortex Technology design, which uses parabolic geometry to improve lift on plane, acceleration, and handling compared to traditional strake designs. The boat features lowered gunnels to maximize usable deck space and includes a heavily insulated cooler and bow/console provisions for electronics.

Electronics and systems include multiple Lowrance units—a Ghost 36V, Active Target, HDS 9, and HDS 12—along with a Hydrowave Fish Finding Stimulator. A Lowrance Ghost 36V sounder rounds out the fishing package. Onboard power management consists of a Genius 4-Bank Battery Charger. The boat is equipped with a Fury 25P stainless steel propeller.

The Z20 rides on a custom-matched tandem-axle trailer finished with GALVASHIELD corrosion protection, tongue step, boarding handle, and swing-away tongue. The boat requires replacement of two trolling motor batteries and a gear lube change.
