The 2016 Nitro Z21 is a 21-foot fiberglass bay boat built around tournament bass fishing. Powered by a 250-horsepower Mercury engine, it reaches speeds to 69 mph and cruises at 60 mph, combining a redesigned lower-profile hull with the Rapid Planing System for flat riding and quick acceleration while keeping weight down.
The bow features a 45-square-foot front deck with rod storage—a 10-rod organizer on the port side plus additional space below—and deck drainage channels to shed water. The bow accommodates an optional 12-inch flush-mount fishfinder alongside navigation lights integrated into the gunnels. A 24-volt Minn Kota Maxxum trolling motor with 80-pound thrust and foot control is mounted forward. An insulated cooler sits under the bow step with a dry storage tray.
The console includes multi-function gauges and a backlit control pad with space for an optional 12-inch fishfinder. Tournament-style suspension seats span the cockpit—wider and slide-adjustable—with a removable third seat and integral net holder behind. Stainless steel locks and latches secure rod organizers and storage compartments throughout the boat. Digital controls at the bow and console provide pushbutton operation.
The boat comes with a tandem-axle trailer equipped with color-matched fiberglass fenders, hull-protective carpeting, oversized steps, submersible LED lights, and improved angled backup lights.
