The Protector Targa 30 is a 30-foot rigid inflatable built on a deep-V offshore hull designed to handle rough conditions with authority. Twin Mercury Verado I6 engines rated at 350 horsepower each drive the boat to a maximum speed of 56 knots, with a cruising speed of 28 knots. The fiberglass hull sits on black tubes with factory black logos, giving the boat a clean, purposeful appearance. Natural teak covers the decks and cabin floor, while Sandsurf upholstery with matching accents provides durable furnishings throughout the cockpit.
The helm features STIDD chairs and a redesigned dashboard that accommodates larger electronics displays. A Garmin suite includes a 7612 GPS/chartplotter with touchscreen, GMR xHD 4kW radar with heading sensor, DT 600W thru-hull transducer, and VHF radio with stainless antenna. A Fusion stereo with four JL speakers and Bluetooth connectivity completes the electronics package. Onboard are a two-section rear bench seat with under-seat coolers, electric head with holding tank, 14-gallon potable water tank with fresh water washdown, and 30-amp shore power with three-bank charger.
Mechanical systems include a Maxwell underbow auto anchor system with stainless anchor, Lenco trim tab system with auto retract, and cockpit remote battery switch panel. Custom additions feature a PYI mast with searchlight, hailer, anchor light and burgee, ACR-RCL 100 LED spotlight with remote, hailer with speaker and air horn, Lewmar forward hatch for cabin ventilation, and stainless steel grab-handles at the cabin trailing edge. Bottom paint was refreshed in May 2026.
