2016 Ranger 621FS Fisherman

This 2016 Ranger 621FS is a 21-foot fiberglass bay boat built for serious fishing. The single 300 hp Suzuki outboard reaches speeds up to 55 mph, with a cruising speed of 28 mph, while the hull design delivers a smooth ride across variable water conditions.

The fishing package is comprehensive. An Ulterra trolling motor with remote control and lithium battery powers the bow, equipped with a Hummingbird transducer. Three Lowrance HDS Live units with Live Target 2 sonar provide extensive water column visibility. A Hummingbird bow-mount graph also taps the Ulterra's transducer, and a radio is installed. Dual Minn Kota 12-foot Talons secure the boat, paired with two new Minn Kota battery chargers for reliability.

The deck layout includes a removable rear section that opens options for rigging and storage. A hydraulic jack plate allows fine-tuning of the outboard's running angle. Wash-down capabilities support maintenance after trips. The captain's area features smooth-ride seating. Dual battery systems—one lithium bank for the trolling motor and two standard batteries for ignition and accessories with a jump switch—provide redundancy. A four-blade stainless steel propeller is fitted.

The boat and matching trailer are equipped with recent upgrades: five new Goodyear trailer tires, fresh carpet on trailer bunks, and a boat wrap covering both the hull and trailer fenders.
