The 2016 Scout 42LXF is a 42-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by quad Mercury Verado 400 outboards. The engines are paired with Mercury JoyStick Controls featuring Skyhook capability for intuitive handling. A bow thruster and upgraded Seakeeper 6 gyroscopic stabilization system enhance maneuverability and comfort in varied conditions.
The boat is outfitted with extensive electronics including three Garmin 8617 touchscreen chartplotters, a Garmin FANTOM 124 open array radar, Garmin GSD26 sonar, and Garmin GXM54 SiriusXM weather integration. Navigation and fish-finding capability are further supported by a Simrad NSS3S 9-inch multifunction display with 3D topographical charts and VesselView integration.
