The 2016 Stamas 317 Tarpon is a 31-foot center console sportfisher built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Yamaha 300-horsepower engines (approximately 200 hours) power the boat, which features an aggressive bow entry and slightly rounded stern designed to deliver a soft ride. The sapphire-blue hull and overall construction create a boat that feels significantly larger than its actual length.
The deck layout prioritizes fishing functionality. Dual locking rod lockers occupy the bow, a four-rod rocket launcher tops the fiberglass hardtop, and additional racks run under the gunwales. Live well capacity totals 80 gallons—a 50-gallon well behind the helm and a 30-gallon well on the transom. Fish storage includes a large transom door for landing, two 347-quart boxes forward, and a 210-quart box aft. The spacious console accommodates electronics mounting.
Recent upgrades include a custom interior, a JL Audio sound system with amplifiers, a new Garmin 8616XSV touchscreen display, and a custom livewell with an aquarium-style face and integrated sink. A windlass and a single head mounted in the console complete the setup. An included trailer is available with the boat.
