This 2016 Van der Heijden Explorer is a 78-foot steel-hulled motor yacht built for long-range cruising. Twin IVECO diesel engines produce 1100 horsepower and drive the boat to a maximum speed of 14 knots, with a cruising speed of 10 knots. The hull design balances displacement efficiency with robust construction, supported by hydraulic bow and stern thrusters and dual hydraulic passarelles for smooth maneuvering and boarding.

The interior arranges five cabins across the boat, including four guest cabins with ensuite bathrooms plus crew quarters. The main saloon features a coffee station, bar, wine cooler, pop-up television, and dining seating arranged around ample storage. Air conditioning maintains comfort throughout. The flybridge includes a fully equipped wetbar with electric grill, sink, and dual refrigerators, while the cockpit and teak side decks, bathing platform, and flybridge create multiple outdoor entertaining spaces.

Equipment reflects extended cruising capability and modern connectivity. Dual Opacmare cranes serve the flybridge and bow. A Williams Sportjet 400 tender with 45 engine hours is included for water activities.

The yacht was serviced for the 2026 boating season with 960 engine hours logged on the main engines. The boat offers substantial volume and living space within a manageable 24-meter platform.
