2017 Aspen C120

The 2017 Aspen C120 is a 40-foot power proa catamaran with a fiberglass hull, built around the distinctive efficiency of its asymmetrical design. Powered by a single Volvo Penta D6 diesel engine producing 435 horsepower, the boat delivers long-range cruising capability with significantly lower fuel consumption than conventional monohulls. The engine has 582 hours of use. A Kohler 6-kilowatt generator provides independent electrical power.

The interior arranges three staterooms and two heads across the spacious 14-foot beam. The primary suite occupies the full width of the boat and includes a private head; a queen stateroom sits forward with its own head; a third stateroom sleeps guests. The saloon features a full-beam design with panoramic windows and an electric-lift teak dinette that converts into a daybed. The galley includes a Force10 three-burner propane stove and oven, a Nova Kool side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, and Corian countertops. Teak cabinetry, flooring, and furnishings throughout the accommodations reflect quality joinery.

The boat carries comprehensive systems: three 100-gallon water tanks, a 230-gallon fuel capacity across aluminum tanks, an 80-gallon waste system, and an 80-gallon holding tank. Climate control includes a 15,000-BTU air conditioner and Wallace furnace. Electrical systems feature a 1,000-watt inverter, 336 amp-hour house battery bank, and dual battery chargers. Side Power bow and stern thrusters with joystick control and Lenco trim tabs aid maneuvering.

The electronics package is comprehensive: Garmin 7612 displays on the pilothouse and flybridge, a 7616xsv 16-inch screen, GMR 18-inch radar dome, Garmin GHP 20 autopilot, GHS 20 wireless remote VHF, Garmin AIS 600, and full charting. Additional features include a liferaft stowed on the flybridge, raw water washdown in the aft cockpit, frameless windshield with opening glass door, and molded stainless railings throughout.
