The 2017 Barracuda 188 CCF is an 18.67-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with a single 115-horsepower Suzuki outboard. It cruises at 30 knots and draws power from a 47-gallon fuel tank with center fill accessible from both sides of the console.

The boat's design prioritizes interior space through a deep bow flare and wide 7.83-foot beam, creating an efficient layout with notably more usable room than comparable 18-foot boats. The helm features a full instrument cluster and a clear-curved glass windshield, with standard provisions including an insulated fishbox with overboard drain and a trolling motor plug.
