2017 Beneteau Swift Trawler 34

The 2017 Beneteau Swift Trawler 34 is a single-engine diesel cruiser built for long-range efficiency and comfort. Powered by a Cummins QSB 6.7 diesel with 425 horsepower and 675 hours of runtime, it cruises at 15 knots and reaches 20 knots at full throttle. Bow and stern thrusters at both helm stations provide confident docking control. A 2023 modification lowered the mast to 20.5 feet, enabling bridge clearance without lifting on many waterways while maintaining full functionality.

The interior centers on a spacious, light-filled salon with panoramic windows and an intelligently laid-out design. Two private staterooms and a galley with substantial storage support extended cruising. Climate control comes from air conditioning with reverse cycle heat, and a 7.5 kW Cummins Onan generator supplies onboard power. An inverter and additional 4D house battery provide auxiliary power. Dual helm stations—one interior with climate control, one elevated on the flybridge—offer flexibility in any weather.

Recent service and upgrades include a full Cummins main engine and transmission service and complete generator service in November 2025. House batteries, thruster batteries, and starting batteries were all replaced in March 2026. Raymarine electronics include a chartplotter, radar, and autopilot integrated with VHF radio. Covers and enclosures throughout—updated bimini, side curtains, helm and flybridge weather covers, and a full lower cockpit enclosure—protect crew and boat in varied conditions.
