This 2017 Boston Whaler 270 Vantage is a dual-console design built on the brand's unsinkable fiberglass hull. It measures 28 feet 3 inches overall with an 8-foot 6-inch beam and draws 20 inches. The boat is powered by twin Mercury outboards and reaches speeds of 50 to 53 mph. It holds 175 gallons of fuel and is certified for up to 12 people.
The layout centers on a convertible portside lounge that adjusts between forward-facing seating, a rear-facing lounger, or a flat sunpad. The starboard console includes a utility center with sink and cutting board. A lockable head compartment in the port console features a sink with Corian countertops and a portable toilet. The cockpit is self-bailing and includes gunnel-mounted rod holders for fishing.
This example has been upgraded with SeaDek flooring, a custom Stratglass enclosure, and a Raymarine 10-inch GPS chartplotter with cooktop and inverter. It also has a Raymarine VHF radio and windlass anchor. The twin Mercury engines show 267 hours of use.
