2017 Burger Explorer Cockpit

This 104-foot Burger Explorer Cockpit is a steel-hulled cruiser completed in 2017 and built to ABS A1 standards. Powered by twin Caterpillar diesels producing 950 horsepower each, the yacht delivers a cruising speed of 9.5 knots and a maximum speed of 12.4 knots, with a range exceeding 4,000 miles. The design, overseen by the original owner working closely with the Burger Boat Company yard, prioritizes moderate draft for shallow-water operation and a low-maintenance exterior suited to extended cruising with a small crew.

The cockpit layout was conceived for offshore fishing and tender operations, with covered walk-around side decks featuring entry doors to both salon and galley. A Portuguese bridge forward connects to boarding gates on the aft deck, while a hydraulic passarelle gangway deploys from the starboard cockpit. Two diesel-powered tenders are carried on the forward working deck.

Below deck, the yacht accommodates six cabins and eight heads with a four-stateroom general arrangement oriented toward family use. The master suite sits aft on the bridge deck. The boat has logged extensive voyages, including a transatlantic passage to Norway, demonstrating the strength of its systems and build quality under demanding use.
