2017 Catana 47

This 2017 Catana 47 is a performance catamaran designed by Christophe Barreau, built from composite and powered by twin 80-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines. The hull combines structural rigidity with single-handed sailing capability and is engineered for long-distance cruising in open water. The boat has completed two full Atlantic Circles and returned to the Mediterranean in 2025, carrying a full complement of safety and communication equipment including dual independent autopilot systems, Starlink satellite internet, and an Iridium GO! system for global connectivity.

The interior comprises three cabins and two heads, arranged for comfortable offshore living. The galley is fully equipped and provisioned. Power independence is supported by a watermaker, solar panels, and a modern lithium battery bank. An extensive inventory of spare parts is carried aboard.

The engines and sail drives were completely overhauled in December 2025. All onboard equipment, including ARC-certified safety gear, remains with the yacht. She has been privately sailed only and has never been chartered.
