The 2017 Chaparral Vortex 203 VRX is a 20-foot jet boat built around a well-appointed open cockpit layout. The hull features Chaparral's marine coring construction with a self-bailing fiberglass liner. Power comes from a Rotax high-output engine paired with advanced digital helm electronics that offer cruise, ski, eco, and docking modes, along with digital instrumentation including depth gauge and hour meter.
The cockpit is arranged in a U-shape with a helm bucket seat that slides and swivels, complemented by a reversible port-side lounge that folds flat for aft-facing seating. The bowrider area has dedicated storage underneath. Snap-in carpet covers the cockpit floor and can be removed for easy cleaning. A full wraparound windshield with stainless steel supports and a folding arch tower with ski mirror come standard. The dash is custom-molded fiberglass with hand-stitched vinyl upholstery.
Standard features include stainless steel grab handles throughout, a 12-volt DC power outlet at the helm, LED-illuminated switches with water-resistant breakers, and sealed electrical connectors. The transom features hinged seats with center walk-through access and storage below. The boat is available in six exterior colors: Aqua, Biscayne Blue, Fire Red, Lime, Stealth, and Yellow, with matching interior color packages.
A black powder-coated trailer is included with the boat.
