The 2017 Chris-Craft Launch 36 is a fiberglass bowrider combining classical American design with modern performance. Twin Volvo Diesel D6 engines produce 800 hp total, delivering a cruising speed of 21.7 knots and a maximum speed of 31.3 knots. At just over 38 feet in length with a 12.5-foot beam, the boat features Chris-Craft's signature tumblehome hull with deep V bottom and flared bow, designed for both stability and responsive handling.

The open cockpit centers on a helm station with power-assisted tilt steering, mahogany wheel, and electronic controls. A spacious forward sunlounger with concealed filler cushion leads to an aft U-shaped seating area. The fully equipped galley includes a two-burner electric cooktop, grill, ice maker, microwave, and refrigerator, with a teak dining table aft. Standard features include a self-bailing cockpit, integral swim platform with three-step ladder, Lenco trim tabs, and a diesel generator for extended cruising.

Below deck, the forward cabin offers a double berth with coordinated fabrics, while a separate mid-cabin provides additional sleeping quarters. A full bathroom features a freshwater shower with seat and storage, alongside a Tecma toilet with macerator and dockside pumpout. The interior showcases walnut cabinetry with hand-crafted details, wooden flooring, and custom upholstered cushions throughout. Indirect LED lighting, skylights with screens, and a flatscreen TV with DVD create comfortable living spaces.

Teak accents grace the bow, grab rails, and helm footpads. The boat is finished in Deep Sapphire Metallic with Riviera Red stripe, complemented by Ivory Cream base and Navy Bimini top. Additional features include a bow thruster, Volvo Joystick control, LED bow docking lights, underwater lights, windlass with stainless steel anchor and chain, and a premium JL Audio sound system with Bluetooth connectivity.
