2017 Cobalt R30

The 2017 Cobalt R30 is a 30-foot open-bow day boat built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single Volvo Penta gasoline engine. It features Cobalt's "Free Space Reclamation" design philosophy, which prioritizes cockpit space and storage throughout. The boat accommodates generous seating across the bow and aft sections, with a large sunpad astern suitable for multiple passengers. An electric swim platform lowers to just below the water's surface for easy water access.

The cockpit layout is highly convertible: seating can be arranged facing forward or aft, a teak table serves as a focal point for gatherings, and filler cushions transform the area into a lounge configuration. A head compartment on the port side also functions as a changing room. The helm features a glass cockpit design with Garmin screens for navigation and system monitoring, plus joystick control for simplified maneuvering.
