2017 Cobalt R35

The 2017 Cobalt R35 is a 35-foot open-bow design built on a fiberglass hull, combining day-boat versatility with mid-cabin comfort. Twin Volvo V8 engines deliver 760 horsepower combined, enabling a top speed exceeding 50 mph. The boat features joystick docking control, AutoGlide trim tabs for ride optimization, and dual Garmin 943 multifunction displays upgraded from factory 7-inch screens. Navigation and anchoring systems include a windlass with all-chain rode, while a hydraulic swim platform lowers below the waterline for water access and a motorized SureShade provides aft cockpit sun protection.

The hull is finished in custom three-color navy with a red boot stripe and features panoramic side windows that bring light into the cabin. The stainless steel arch incorporates an integrated hardtop and additional teak accents, with a bow and cockpit tonneau covers matching the hull color. An aft walk-thru transom and freshwater shower complete the exterior layout.

The cabin accommodates overnight stays with a convertible lounge that converts to a full-size berth for two adults and a child. Interior finishes include a terra brown color package with white seats and brown accents. Climate control provides both air conditioning and heat. The cabin features a 32-inch LCD television, DVD player, gaming hookups, an upgraded sound system with transom speakers and satellite radio, a wet bar with refrigerator, and a spacious enclosed head with shower seat. Two convertible tables serve the bow and aft seating areas.

Significant mechanical work was completed in 2024 and 2025, including a complete OEM exhaust system replacement, new water pumps, replacement fuel pump for the port engine, and three new marine batteries. Custom SeaDek flooring was installed throughout, and Garmin displays were upgraded with Navionics+ chart software. The boat shows 270 engine hours.
