2017 Cobalt R5

The 2017 Cobalt R5 is a 25-foot fiberglass bowrider powered by a single Volvo Penta gasoline engine producing 350 horsepower, capable of reaching 45 miles per hour. Its exterior design combines clean lines with bold graphics and an aggressive profile that commands attention on the water.

The interior reflects Cobalt's attention to detail throughout. The boat features a walk-through transom, convertible backrest seating, and generous forward seating with a wraparound configuration unique to Cobalt in this size class. The passenger seat forward is notably wide, and the cabin includes a head accessed through a console door with Makassar grain trim and vinyl detailing.

The helm is outfitted with oil-rubbed ebony Makassar trim, duotone aluminum dash panels, and stainless steel switches. Two 10-inch Garmin touchscreen displays with multifunction capability sit within a form-fitted vinyl eyebrow. The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits above thoughtfully positioned armrests, footrests, and controls. Storage includes multiple cupholders integrated throughout the layout.

A Rockford Fosgate stereo system serves both the helm and aft seating areas with controls positioned for easy access.
