2017 Cobia 296 Center Console

This 2017 Cobia 296 is a 29-foot center console built on a vacuum-infused fiberglass hull with a 10-foot beam. Twin Yamaha F300 four-stroke engines power the boat to speeds around 55 mph, with cruising speeds in the 30–35 mph range. The engines show approximately 1,000 hours and have completed their full 1,000-hour service. The boat carries 189 gallons of fuel, 39 gallons of fresh water, and a 9-gallon holding tank. A self-bailing cockpit, 25-degree deadrise at the transom, Lenco trim tabs, and hydraulic steering with power assist support comfortable offshore operation.

The helm station features dual Garmin GPSMAP 7612 multifunction displays, Garmin open-array radar, and a Minn Kota trolling motor paired with a 36V lithium battery system. A Yamaha digital gauge package, Ritchie compass, and Fusion stereo with multi-zone speakers complete the electronics suite. A powder-coated fiberglass hardtop with LED spreader lights and integrated storage sits overhead.

The deck is organized for fishing and cruising: twin 28-gallon livewells in the aft corners, insulated macerated fish boxes forward and aft, Gemlux outriggers, an electric bow table that converts to a sun lounge, and a large leaning post with bolster and tackle storage. An electric marine toilet, sink, vanity, and transom fresh-water shower provide onboard facilities. Additional amenities include a fold-away transom seat, forward seating with removable backrests, raw and fresh-water washdowns, and rod holders throughout.

The boat shows excellent overall condition and includes a Continental dual-axle aluminum trailer for transport.
