2017 East Cape Vantage

The 2017 East Cape Vantage is a 19-foot fiberglass flats boat finished in Porsche Petrol Blue hull with Cloud White topside and Haint Blue console. Powered by a Suzuki 90 hp engine with 930 hours, it cruises comfortably at 30 mph and reaches low 40s top speed, delivering 7 to 8 mpg. The shallow draft of approximately 7 inches light and 9 inches loaded makes it capable in true skinny water while retaining the range for longer crossings.

The boat features a custom floating lodge-style console and seat by East Cape, a massive front hatch, and polished aluminum in strong condition. Drafting roughly 7 to 9 inches allows operation in extremely shallow water while maintaining performance across open water. The layout includes a 35-gallon livewell with Rule 1100 GPH pump, faux teak Seadek under the gunwale and poling platform, and white LED under-gunwale lighting with Lumitec underwater and spreader lights. A Minn Kota Terrova 24-volt trolling motor with 80 lb thrust was installed two years ago with recent component replacement by Betts Fishing Center.

Electronics and power systems have seen recent updates: Simrad GO9 chartplotter, replaced Optima Blue Top house battery, AGM batteries, and NOCO 3-bank onboard charger all installed this year. Audio is handled by a Clarion Bluetooth amplifier with Wet Sounds speakers on the front bulkhead. Navigation is provided by Livorsi LED lights. The 24-foot Carbon Marine push pole with V-marine clips and caddy complete the fishing setup.

Maintenance has been consistent and thorough, with all anodes replaced every 100 hours and regular service of impeller, fuel filters, fluids, and spark plugs. A 2017 Ram Lin all-aluminum dry launch trailer is included, recently overhauled with new axle, bunks, lights, and wiring.
