2017 Formula 400 Super Sport

The 2017 Formula 400 Super Sport is a 41.5-foot fiberglass sports cruiser powered by twin Mercury Racing 520 Bravo Three XR engines with 1,040 total horsepower. The boat reaches speeds of 53 knots and cruises at 37 knots. Both engines carry only 230 hours of operation. Control comes via Mercury's Joystick Piloting system paired with a Livorsi DTS throttle setup, and the engines feature Mercury's X-Haust noise reduction technology and SeaCore transoms with remote capability.

The interior includes a cabin with light cherry woodgrain flooring and Bourbon Cherry doors, complemented by Corian countertops in Bronzite. Navigation and monitoring equipment spans Raymarine eS128 GPS chartplotters with HD radar, twin GPS systems, and a T303 thermal camera. A VHF radio with antenna and US map data rounds out the electronics package. The boat carries a concealed electric windlass with chain counter, vacuum head with holding tank, and freshwater engine flush connections.

Comfort features include a 16,000 BTU cockpit air conditioning unit, an upgraded gas generator with sound shielding, and a Fusion stereo system. Lighting includes underwater and cockpit blue LED systems plus a remote-control halogen searchlight. The exterior features a hardtop with Lexan windscreen, all-weather Sunbrella canvas in Morning Sand, and woodgrain vinyl decking on the swim platform with aged teak. Full bow and cockpit covers are included. A Siren cellular GPS locator monitors shore power and bilge pump activity. The boat has operated exclusively in freshwater.
