The 2017 Fountaine Pajot SABA 50 is a 50-foot fiberglass catamaran built in the Maestro configuration, featuring four cabins and four heads. Twin 75 hp Volvo Penta diesel engines deliver a cruising speed of 6.5 knots and maximum speed of 9 knots. The boat has a beam of 26 feet, providing the characteristic stability and interior volume of the SABA platform.
The layout centers on a generous owner suite with separate head and shower, desk, and dedicated hallway. The remaining three guest cabins offer comfortable accommodations for cruising. The interior is appointed with toffee leather upholstery throughout. Six reverse-cycle air conditioning units with independent controls maintain climate comfort, while a 65-liter watermaker, 7 kg washing machine, and 11 kw Onan generator support extended cruising. The galley includes double stainless steel fridge drawers, a separate freezer, additional cockpit refrigeration, and an ice maker. Fresh water toilets with holding tanks are fitted throughout.
All exterior upholstery is Sunbrella in toffee and remains in good condition. The transom and cockpit feature Flexiteak decking. A Bauer Junior dive compressor, 12-foot AB RIB tender with 20 hp Yamaha outboard, four 100-watt solar panels with regulators, and a 3000-watt Magma inverter are included. Shore power accommodates worldwide voltage. The starboard engine shows 1000 hours; the port engine was replaced and has 20 hours. Volvo sail drives underwent seal service. The hull was antifouled and props serviced in October 2023.
