2017 Galeon 430 Skydeck

The 2017 Galeon 430 Skydeck is a 43-foot flybridge cruiser powered by twin Volvo diesel engines delivering 870 horsepower. The hull is fiberglass construction with a beam of nearly 14 feet, providing a stable platform for extended cruising. The defining feature is its innovative Skydeck design—a hybrid top deck that combines elements of traditional flybridges and hardtops. Three forward-facing seats and two lounges sit atop the yacht, accessed by a drop-down stainless steel ladder with teak treads that preserves cockpit space. The aft deck features a modular design with convertible seating and loungers, allowing multiple layout configurations through pop-up tables and reconfigurable sections.

Below deck, the main salon features an electrically opening carbon fiber sunroof, a U-shaped sofa with storage, and an opposing settee. A well-equipped galley includes a two-burner induction cooktop, microwave, twin stainless steel sink, refrigerator with freezer, and extensive cabinetry. The helm station is elevated within the salon and equipped with Volvo Electronic Vessel Control displays and comprehensive navigation gear. Three cabins sleep six people: a full owner's suite forward with king berth, en-suite head with separate shower, and two guest cabins with convertible twin bunks. A second guest head serves the guest cabins.

Instrumentation and systems are comprehensive. Navigation includes Raymarine chartplotter, digital radar, VHF with AIS, and autopilot. Power and climate control come from a Fischer Panda 12 kW diesel generator, 44,000 BTU reverse-cycle air conditioning with four zones, and a bow thruster with joystick control. The electrical system runs both 240V shore power and 12V DC circuits. Fresh water and waste systems include stainless steel holding tanks for grey and black water. Exterior features encompass stainless steel cleats, handrails throughout, electric anchor windlass with 197 feet of chain, extended swim platform with boarding ladder, and remote spotlight. Teak is used on the cockpit sole, flybridge stairs, and swim platform.
