The Grand Soleil 52 Long Cruise is a bluewater cruiser designed by Marco Lostuzzi with interiors by Nauta Design. This 55-foot fiberglass yacht combines performance with cruising comfort, featuring a hull optimized for long-range voyaging and a powerful, manageable sail plan. The Sport version specification includes a 9' 6" torpedo bulb keel for upwind performance, rod rigging, hydraulic backstay, and an open aft cockpit. Dual helms with four two-speed electric Harken winches enable easy single-handed sailing, while the Harken Switch mainsail track and upgraded below-deck jib furler support both self-tacking and traditional jib configurations.
The interior accommodates three generous cabins and three heads, with additional crew berths available in the sail locker. An electric lowering dinette table enhances flexibility below. Full air conditioning throughout and a 10,000-watt Fischer Panda generator support extended cruising. The yacht carries a Yanmar 110-horsepower diesel engine with straight shaft and Flex-O-Fold propeller. A tender and outboard are stored in a garage behind a drop-down transom swim platform.
Upgrades since delivery include a Victron lithium battery system with 3000-watt inverter/charger plus backup chargers, Starlink connectivity, and Quantum tri-radial laminated sails. A Spectra watermaker supports independence from shore facilities. Shore power inlets for both US and EU standards with selector switch are installed. The yacht has been equipped throughout with premium components chosen to balance ease of handling with racing capability.
