2017 Lagoon 42

This 2017 Lagoon 42 catamaran is a three-cabin, three-head cruising boat built in fiberglass. Twin Yanmar diesel engines (57 hp each) power the design, with the main engines showing approximately 2,800 hours of operation. The boat has been regularly maintained and is ready for extended cruising.

Navigation systems include Raymarine B&G electronics centered on a Zeus3 12-inch multifunction display with wifi, two Triton2 screens, and B&G autopilot. A Halo 20+ radar and AIS500 were installed in 2023, with a VHF60 radio added the same year. The sail plan comprises a boom mainsail, self-tacking jib, spare jib by UK Sailmakers (2019), and a Code 0 by UK Sailmakers (2019), all controlled through a continuous-roll boom furler.

Power independence is supported by six solar panels generating 1,890 watts, paired with four Relion lithium batteries (1,200 amp-hours total) and Victron management systems including three SmartSolar regulators, a BMV712 battery monitor, and a 2,000-watt Phoenix Smart inverter installed in 2024. Two Certec chargers and 230-volt shore power complete the electrical setup.

Onboard amenities include a Samsung 40-inch smart television, Fusion audio system with Bluetooth speakers, a Starlink satellite internet system, a desalinator producing 70 liters per hour, and Jabsco electric toilets. The boat features a teak cockpit with rigid bimini shade, full canvas protection (2023), and a complete sun shield added in 2022. Ground tackle comprises two Rocna anchors with chain, an electric Quick winch, and a Highfield 340 tender with Honda 20 hp outboard (2019).
