2017 Lagoon 450 F

This 2017 Lagoon 450 F is a 45-foot fiberglass catamaran designed by VPLP architects in partnership with Nauta Design. The boat features the spacious deck areas, accommodations, and performance the 450 platform is known for. Twin 114 hp Yammer diesel engines power the yacht, supported by three cabins and three heads arranged across the hull.

The interior combines Alpi reconstituted wood joinery with vertical glazing that maximizes headroom and protects against sun exposure. A gull-wing bridge deck enhances comfort in heavier conditions. Deck features include extended transoms on both sides, a custom-built hydraulic dinghy platform, and removable canvas enclosures for the stern and helm station.

The owner has invested significantly in off-grid and communication systems since 2021. A lithium battery bank with five Victron LiFePO4 330Ah units powers the vessel, with two additional units and all hardware onboard for expansion to seven batteries total. Solar generation comes from an aft-mounted Italian-made solar wing and a bimini top fitted with four panels. A Watt & Sea hydrogenator provides additional charging underway. Multiple communication systems are installed: KVH mini-VSAT, Iridium Go, and dual Starlink maritime satellite systems. The boat also carries a Siren Marine monitoring system with remote engine cutoff, battery and bilge sensors, GPS tracking, and geofencing via mobile phone.

The hull was repainted in pigeon blue with fresh antifouling during a haul-out, and all four hull windows were cleared of film. A new spinnaker, new Zodiac dinghy with 40 hp Yamaha engine and water ski tow point, and upgraded masthead wind sensors are included. All electronics and systems were professionally installed with clean cable routing. Fall 2025 haul-out is scheduled for bottom paint and comprehensive engine service.
