The 2017 Leopard 43 Powercat is a fiberglass catamaran built for comfortable cruising and ocean crossing. Powered by twin Yammer diesel engines producing 520 horsepower, she reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots with a cruising speed of 15 knots, delivering strong fuel efficiency through her stepped hull design and reduced wetted surface. The narrow hulls increase interior volume by approximately 27% compared to earlier models while maintaining performance and agility. At 43 feet long with a 22-foot beam, the yacht offers the spacious layout characteristic of the powercat class.

The accommodations comprise three cabins and two heads, with the starboard hull dedicated entirely to an owner's suite featuring a large master cabin and private head with separate shower compartment forward. Guest cabins and the main saloon feature light ash cabinetry throughout. The galley is positioned forward with a forward-facing settee and table aft, creating an efficient layout that maximizes living space. A large flybridge provides 360-degree visibility for navigation and enjoyment underway and at anchor.

The boat is equipped with a generator, air conditioning, and electric davits. An aft cockpit and flybridge provide multiple outdoor living areas. The yacht sustained damage during Hurricane Irma and has been repaired following the builder's guidelines.
