The 2017 Leopard 51 Powercat is a fiberglass catamaran powered by twin 350 hp Yanmar diesel engines. At just over 51 feet with a beam of 25 feet, the design offers a spacious platform built for extended cruising. Fuel capacity stands at 1,500 liters, supported by 750 liters of fresh water storage across three tanks.
The layout accommodates five cabins with four ensuite cabins featuring new mattresses installed in 2024, plus two crew cabins with shared head and shower facilities. Four heads are distributed throughout, each with fresh water and separate showers. The salon spaces include an aft salon, interior salon, bow salon, and flybridge salon — all fitted with new upholstery in 2024.
Systems are comprehensive. Climate control includes full air conditioning and a 9 kW Northlights diesel generator. A 200-liter-per-hour watermaker and 30 kWh battery banks support extended voyaging. Recent additions include a 4 kW solar array and 10 kW inverter, both installed in 2025. Galley amenities include an electric stove, electric oven, coffee maker with grinder, ice maker, and multiple refrigeration units positioned throughout the salons and flybridge.
Navigation is dual-station with a 12-inch Raymarine GPS plotter and AIS in the salon and a 9-inch Raymarine plotter with AIS on the flybridge, plus autopilot and anchor remote with chain counter. Additional features include a Highfield 340 dinghy with aluminum bottom and 25 hp Yamaha four-stroke engine, electric scooters, flybridge spray hoods, and an AED unit.
