The 2017 Lindell 42 is a purpose-built sportfish boat designed for Pacific Northwest waters. Twin Volvo Penta IPS500 engines producing 370 horsepower each power the boat, with IPS pod drive transmissions enabling joystick docking and responsive handling. The boat achieves approximately 42 mph at top speed and cruises around 30 mph while delivering 1.29 miles per gallon, balancing performance with efficiency for extended offshore runs.
Below deck, the boat provides two cabins and one head for comfortable overnight cruising. A Northern Lights generator produces 6.0 kW, supported by a Magnum inverter/charger and full River AGM battery bank. Climate control comes from a Webasto diesel heating system, and an 8-gallon hot water heater supplies the electric marine toilet. LED lighting is installed throughout. Navigation relies on Garmin electronics, and a Fusion stereo system covers interior and exterior audio.
The cockpit is laid out for serious fishing, with Burnewiin mounts, rocket launchers above the cabin, and twelve-volt outlets for four Scotty downriggers. The Ultra Deck cockpit flooring, staple rail on the swim platform, and rooftop tender slide complete the fishing setup. An FCI Aqualite watermaker supports extended time at sea, and the boat has undergone extensive electrical system upgrades. The engines show approximately 2000 hours of operation, while the generator has logged 240 hours. The boat has been professionally maintained and serviced in Vancouver.
