The 2017 Mako 184 Center Console is an 18-foot sportfish built around a deep V hull designed to handle rougher offshore conditions. The fiberglass construction features a foam-injected hull with a one-piece stringer grid and a 360-degree chemically bonded and mechanically fastened hull-to-deck joint using stainless steel fasteners. The wide beam provides stability, and the self-bailing cockpit with non-skid deck surface keeps the boat dry and safe in active conditions.
The center console layout includes helm and forward seating with 2-tone marine-grade vinyl upholstery, analog gauges, and an acrylic windscreen. Rod storage runs under the gunwales on both sides. The boat is equipped with a 21-gallon livewell, port and starboard bow seating with 64-quart insulated fishboxes and drains, and a 50-gallon in-deck fuel capacity good for approximately 166 miles of range.
The Mercury 115 hp four-stroke engine has undergone a rebuild with a new powerhead, ECM, and impeller, and includes a three-year factory warranty. Oil and fuel filters have been replaced. The boat cruises at 18 knots and reaches 29 knots at top speed. Electronics include a VHF radio with 70-plus-mile range and GPS, a Humminbird fishfinder with GPS, dual spotlights and deck lights aft, an 18-inch light bar forward, and a stereo with Bluetooth and two 6.5-inch speakers. Additional equipment includes dual batteries with three-bank charger, rigging for cannon downriggers, bow storage with drains, and a T-top with T-bag storage. The boat comes with a dual-axle aluminum trailer with brakes and four new tires.
