The 2017 Mako 214 Center Console is a 21-foot fiberglass cruiser built around a Deep V hull designed to handle rough water conditions. Powered by a single 200-horsepower Mercury engine, it combines practical fishing capability with recreational comfort for a broad range of boaters.
The layout centers on a console helm position fitted with analog gauges, a large electronics mounting surface, and an acrylic windscreen. Two pedestal seats serve the helm, while a forward console seat incorporates a 72-quart insulated cooler. Bow seating on both sides includes 108-quart insulated fishboxes with drains. Rod racks under the gunwales on port and starboard hold six rods total, and the center console offers additional storage for tackle and electronics.
The hull features foam injection with a one-piece fiberglass stringer grid, and the hull-to-deck joint is chemically bonded and mechanically fastened with stainless steel hardware around the perimeter. The self-bailing cockpit has a non-skid surface throughout the walking flats, foredeck, gunwale tops, sole, and stern platform. Seating is upholstered in high-density marine-grade vinyl with composite backing. Non-skid surfaces are applied to all hatch covers as well.
