2017 Nordhavn 96

The Nordhavn 96 is a purpose-built expedition motor yacht with transatlantic range and proven seakeeping credentials. Her fiberglass hull and twin Caterpillar diesel engines are engineered for sustained global cruising. The design was recognized as a finalist for the 2018 International Yacht and Aviation Design Awards and the 2018 World Superyacht Voyager Award.

Recent mechanical work has included overhauls of both main engines at 7,500 and 10,000 hours, plus a full rebuild of the main engine transmissions in 2023. The generator set has been replaced, and all navigational systems have been updated to current standards.

Throughout the yacht, upgrades have been completed over the past two years. The galley has been refreshed, all appliances serviced, carpets replaced, the superstructure painted, and new antifouling applied to the hull.
