2017 Out Island SeaTek 36 Express

The 2017 Out Island SeaTek 36 Express is a 36-foot center console built for serious offshore fishing and charter operations. Powered by twin Cummins QSB 6.7L 550 HP diesels with 290 hours of use, the boat cruises at 30 knots and combines a proven Carolina-flare hull design with the kind of build quality Out Island is known for. The boat carries extensive electronics including dual Simrad NSS16 EVO3S displays, Simrad HALO 3 radar, FLIR thermal camera, and four VHF radios, along with 22-foot carbon fiber electric outriggers mounted to the hardtop.

The cockpit is laid out for fishing work, featuring a transom livewell, tuna door with gate, two in-deck fish boxes, and a 25-cubic-foot above-deck insulated fish box with macerator. Rod holders are distributed throughout, and the spacious deck arrangement supports both fishing crews and passengers. Saltwater and freshwater washdowns serve the working areas.

Below deck, the single cabin sleeps four with a forward double berth and a dinette that converts electronically to an additional bunk. An enclosed head with separate shower, galley with Corian counters and microwave, and air conditioning with heat support extended time away from the dock. The interior features teak cabinetry and teak-and-holly sole throughout.

Mechanically, the boat runs ZF gears with trolling valves for precise slow-speed control, a 6kW Northern Lights generator with 75 hours, and oil change systems for both main engines and generator. The engine room is sound-dampened with an Awlgrip finish, and the boat includes 50-amp shore power, block heaters, Racor fuel filters, and high-water alarms.
