2017 Prestige 500S

The 2017 Prestige 500S is a 50-foot motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull designed for fuel efficiency and solid seaworthiness. Twin Volvo D6 diesel engines driving IPS 600 pods deliver 870 horsepower total, capable of cruising at 20 knots or reaching 30 knots at speed. The IPS system provides fingertip maneuvering via joystick controls from two stations, supplemented by a bow thruster. A Seakeeper 6 gyro stabilizer keeps the boat steady without requiring external fins.

The accommodations span four cabins and three heads. The master cabin runs full beam with its own private head. The forward cabin features a centerline double berth that splits into two singles. The third cabin and a separate crew quarters with enclosed head round out the sleeping spaces. The main salon and galley occupy an open, uncluttered layout enhanced by a fully retractable sunroof, ideal for evening cruising.

Equipment throughout reflects thoughtful upgrades and contemporary conveniences. The kitchen includes a Miele induction cooktop and convection microwave. Retractable features—a cockpit sunshade, foredeck canopy, and flush-mounted television—maximize flexibility. An upgraded HVAC system with metal fittings, new battery bank, enhanced inverter, and additional outlets with USB ports throughout support modern comfort. Underwater lights, Propspeed on both props and IPS drives, and block heaters for the main engines complete the systems package.

The yacht has been maintained on fresh water with recent oil analysis showing excellent results across the main engines and IPS drives.
