The 2017 Pursuit S 408 is a 42-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with a 13-foot beam. Three Yamaha gasoline engines combine for 1,050 horsepower, delivering strong acceleration and cruising capability across open water or tight channels. With only 480 engine hours logged, the powerplants have considerable service life remaining.

The open deck layout is organized around a center console helm, providing unobstructed sightlines and straightforward movement throughout the boat. The design balances space for entertaining and socializing with practical fishing capability—multiple anglers can work the deck, and storage is distributed to keep gear accessible without cluttering the working areas. Seating arrangements support both relaxed cruising and active use.
