2017 Sabre 48 Salon Express

The 2017 Sabre 48 Salon Express is a fiberglass Downeast cruiser built around a deep-vee composite hull and powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines totaling 1,100 horsepower. Joystick-controlled Volvo pod drives deliver responsive handling and precise maneuvering in tight quarters.

The salon design centers on an open layout with an electric rear window that opens fully to merge the interior with the aft cockpit. The yacht sleeps two cabins and includes two heads. An electric windlass handles ground tackle.

Designed for extended cruising, the boat cruises at 27–29 knots and reaches speeds over 32 knots at full throttle. The combination of capable propulsion, composed hull design, and enclosed yet flowing living spaces makes this yacht well-suited to both coastal and offshore passages.
