This 2017 Sea Ray Sundancer 400 is a 40-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Cummins Diesel engines producing 960 hp combined, with reported engine hours at 470. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 32 knots and cruises at 25 knots. Twin Raymarine GPS units with radar and chartplotters, a VesselView4 multifunction display, and joystick control with integrated thruster assist docking and maneuvering. A Kohler generator at 398 hours provides auxiliary power.

The main deck centers on a single-level layout linking the cockpit, salon, galley, and helm. The salon is bright, with arched windows and a retractable sunroof, and includes settee seating with a floating footrest and a double-wide helm seat. The galley has a stainless sink, convection microwave, two-burner cooktop, and refrigerator with freezer. Below deck are two staterooms and one head. The master stateroom features a queen island berth with windows and storage; the guest stateroom offers an adjustable berth that converts between queen and twin configurations. The head includes an electric toilet, sink with counter space, and a separate glassed-in shower with teak flooring.

The aft cockpit features an L-shaped settee, table, and retractable awning. A large swim platform extends from the stern, and the bow has padded lounges with backrests. Custom covers protect the topside and upholstery. Dual-zone ducted air conditioning and heat, water heater, and Rockford Fosgate stereo with speakers throughout. Cabinetry, upholstery, and solid surface counters in quality materials. The sea strainers have been upgraded with an Electro Sea water management system.
