2017 Sumerset Houseboat

This 70-foot aluminum Sumerset houseboat is powered by twin Volvo diesel engines producing 660 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 8 knots and a maximum speed of 10 knots. The boat features four private cabins and three heads, laid out across two main levels plus an upper sundeck. The design emphasizes spacious, well-appointed living areas suited for extended cruising or stationary use.

The lower level contains the four staterooms: two mirror-image guest cabins to port, each with twin berths; a VIP cabin aft with a double berth; and a generous master suite featuring a raised island queen berth, en-suite head with tile and glass shower, and substantial storage. The saloon spans much of the main deck and includes a helm station with full instrumentation—Raymarine HybridTouch MFD with GPS plotter, radar, and autopilot—alongside a spacious L-shaped lounge, flat-panel entertainment center, formal dining table for six, and a fully equipped galley. The galley features custom mahogany cabinetry, solid surface counters, double stainless sinks with spray wand and instant-hot water, Bosch dishwasher and oven, electric glass cooktop, Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water, and tile-and-stone backsplash detailing.

The upper sundeck accommodates a generous entertaining and dining area under a fiberglass hardtop with overhead fans and removable enclosure panels, a stone fireplace with inset television, a C-shaped bar with sink, refrigerator, and microwave, and an aft section with a hot tub and retractable awning. The foredeck features a C-shaped cushioned lounge with access to dual rope and chain windlasses and storage. Flex-Teak flooring is installed throughout the main decks. The aft deck, accessible from the master suite, includes a swim platform with ladder and a day head.

Systems include a Kohler 32-kilowatt generator, 4-kilowatt inverter, SidePower bow and stern thrusters, reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning, two 20-gallon water heaters, multi-stage charcoal and UV water filtration, satellite television, ten security cameras with monitors, and washer/dryer.
