This 2017 Thunder Jet Pilot 24 is a 28-foot aluminum runabout built for Pacific Northwest conditions. Twin Mercury outboards—a 300 hp main engine and 9.9 hp kicker—power the boat, which features a deep-V hull designed to track smoothly through rougher water. The enclosed pilothouse with large windows protects the helm and extends comfort throughout the year, while the extended swim platform and full-width transom platform provide functional outdoor space.
The layout combines fishing utility with cruising comfort. The cockpit is spacious and safe, with welded storage trays, in-floor lockable storage, a floor-mounted fish locker with macerator, and multiple rod holders including Scotty downriggers and rocket launchers. The cabin includes a V-berth with cushions, lights, and privacy enclosure, along with convertible aft seating that transforms into a sleeping berth. Interior carpeting and grab rails add practicality.
Navigation and control are handled by twin Garmin chartplotters (main and aft helm positions), a Garmin radar, and hydraulic steering with tilt adjustment. A diesel heater rounds out the onboard systems. The boat has been continuously maintained by a single owner since its build, and comes with an EZ Loader tandem-axle galvanized trailer rated for 8,500 pounds.
