The 2017 Yamaha 242X is a 24-foot jet boat built for wake surfing and wakeboarding. Twin Yamaha jet engines power the boat, which features the brand's integrated ballast system and WakeBooster surf technology, generating excellent wakes for both disciplines. A wake tower with board racks and multiple tow points support all watersports, while the hull design allows for safe water access at the transom—a defining advantage of jet propulsion with no exposed propeller.

The boat accommodates up to 12 passengers across generous seating arrangements.
