The 2017 Yellowfin 36 Offshore is a purpose-built center console powered by triple Mercury 400R V10 engines producing 1,200 horsepower total. Built for fishing, the boat reaches speeds to 70 mph and cruises efficiently at 45 mph. The fiberglass hull spans 36 feet 8 inches in length with a 10-foot beam, offering a stable platform for offshore work.
This example has undergone a complete refit with new 2024 Mercury engines backed by an extended warranty through 2030 at 500 hours. The electronics suite is comprehensive: Garmin displays and dome radar, dual Garmin VHF radios, Garmin autopilot, and Mercury Vessel View systems positioned at both the lower helm and upper station. A JL Audio entertainment system with Bluetooth includes speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers throughout.
Fishing-focused features define the build-out. Seadeck covers the running surfaces, a coffin box and rocket launcher accommodate rods, and numerous rod holders are positioned around the boat. A three-sided polycarbonate enclosure provides weather protection, while external white outriggers extend fishing capability. Additional equipment includes underwater lights, a tow eye, and full helm controls on the upper station with a stand-through design.
The boat comes with an Ameratrail trailer and displays a flag blue hull wrap over Matterhorn white gelcoat beneath.
