2018 Barker Boatworks 26 Open

The 2018 Barker Boatworks 26 Open is a 26-foot center console built with 100% vinyl ester and composite coring using vacuum bag resin infusion. It measures 9.25 feet across the beam with an 18-degree deadrise and draws 14 inches. Power comes from a single Mercury Verado 350 horsepower engine with 478 hours of operation. The boat holds 120 gallons of fuel and 20 gallons of fresh water.

The open layout centers on a custom console featuring a teak drive pod and an Edson steering wheel, with forward seating and cushions, plus a second station stand-through tower. A full forward sun dodger provides weather protection. Electronics include a Garmin package, and audio is handled by JL Audio. Fishing amenities are comprehensive: a 15-gallon bow baitwell, 45-gallon leaning post baitwell, 15-gallon transom baitwell, 50-gallon macerated insulated fish box, 140-gallon macerated insulated fish box, and a 15-gallon transom cooler.

Control and equipment systems include a Minn Kota iPilot ST trolling motor, twin Power-Pole Blades, Livorsi paddle trim and jack plate controls, and Lenco trim tabs. The boat is rigged for both nearshore and offshore use, with handling suited to fishing and cruising applications.
