The 2018 Barker Boatworks 26 Open is a fiberglass center console built for serious fishing and coastal cruising. At 26 feet in length with an 8.5-foot beam, the hull features 100% vinyl ester construction with composite coring and vacuum-bag resin infusion. Power comes from a Mercury Verado 400 hp engine mounted on a Bob's Machine Shop jack plate with paddle trim controls and Lenco trim tabs.
The boat underwent a complete refit in 2024. The engine itself is new, with only 41 hours of runtime. The electronics package is new Simrad, comprising a 24-inch primary display and a 9-inch tower display. A Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor with Abyss Lithium battery was also installed and remains unused. Twin Power-Pole anchoring systems and a JL Audio sound system are fitted throughout.
The open deck layout includes a second-station stand-through tower and forward seating with cushions. Fishing amenities comprise a 15-gallon bow baitwell, 45-gallon leaning post baitwell, 15-gallon transom baitwell, two insulated macerated fish boxes of 50 and 140 gallons, a 15-gallon transom cooler, and outriggers. The boat carries 90 gallons of fuel and 20 gallons of freshwater. New upholstery and new pumps and switches throughout were part of the 2024 work.
A custom Ameritrail trailer is included with the purchase.
