2018 Beneteau Sense 51

The 2018 Beneteau Sense 51 is a 52-foot cruising sailboat built in fiberglass with a pearl-grey hull and a full teak cockpit, side decks, and aft platform. Designed by Berret Racopeau and Nauta Design, she features a 9/10th fractional sloop rig with an in-mast furling system, twin-spreader mast, and an asymmetrical spinnaker setup. The boat is powered by an 80 hp Yanmar diesel engine with saildrive and equipped with a bow thruster for enhanced maneuverability. An 80-meter anchor chain and 15 kg Delta anchor are included, along with a secondary anchor.

The accommodation spans four cabins with flexible berth configuration, including a convertible saloon dinette and crew cabin, plus two heads. The interior features white ceruse oak flooring, fruitwood Alpi woodwork, and a full suite of domestic equipment: a 40-litre quick water heater, 24,000 BTU air-conditioning, 3-burner gas cooker with oven, 200-litre fridge, 100-litre freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. A Fusion audio system with Bose speakers provides entertainment throughout the boat and cockpit.

Navigation is handled by a fully integrated B&G system with dual 9-inch Zeus chart plotters, twin Triton displays, autopilot with wireless remote, RS90 VHF with AIS, and compass. The electrical system includes 12V/220V shore supply, four domestic battery banks totaling 680Ah, a 6 kVA Onan generator (2,242 hours), and three battery chargers. A 1,500-watt Lewmar electric windlass with remote control handles anchoring duties.

The boat carries a 12-man life raft, EPIRB, and comprehensive safety equipment including jack-lines, life jackets, and fire extinguishers. A Kapa tender with 2.3 hp Honda outboard is included, along with a gas-Plancha on the aft platform, sprayhood with new canvas (2025), bimini top, and full cockpit cushions with tables. The engine had 3,840 hours as of March 2026.
