The Beneteau Swift Trawler 30 is a semi-displacement trawler built in 2018 with a fiberglass and balsa-core hull. At just under 10 metres in length with a beam of 3.53 metres, it combines efficiency with modest proportions. The boat is powered by a single Volvo Penta D6 diesel engine producing 370 horsepower, fitted with bow and stern thrusters for confident maneuvering. The engine has approximately 350 hours of use and was serviced in January 2026.
Accommodation comprises two cabins plus a saloon with double berth, providing space for up to six berths. Headroom throughout cabins and saloon reaches 1.95 metres. The boat includes an electric freshwater toilet, separate shower, and cockpit shower. A 25-litre hot water tank supplies the hot water system, and a holding tank is installed beneath the cabin floor. The galley is fitted with a refrigerator, gas hob, and microwave, with gas safety alarm and automatic shut-off.
Systems are modern and well-maintained. The house and engine batteries were replaced in 2025, as was the separate thruster battery. An Onan genset, serviced in 2025, provides additional power, and the boat has 220V shore power with an inverter. Navigation equipment includes GPS, chartplotter with Navionics, depth sounder, autopilot, wind instruments, VHF, and AIS. Deck gear includes a Rocna anchor with electric windlass and marked chain, davits, swim ladder, and bimini. Fire extinguishers are new as of 2025, and safety equipment comprises manual and electric bilge pumps, EPIRB, MOB gear, and lifejackets. The hull was last antifouled in December 2025, and the boat has EWOF (Environmental Warrant of Fitness) valid to 2028.
