The 2018 Blue Wave 2400 PureBay is a 24-foot fiberglass bay boat built for shallow-water fishing. It runs a single Mercury Verado 300-horsepower engine and draws just 12 inches, making it well-suited to flats and skinny water. The engine has 867 hours on it and received a full 300-hour service in June 2025.
The boat's layout emphasizes casting and fishing. Large front and rear decks provide plenty of room to move, with lockable rod storage on the port and starboard sides, under-gunwale rod storage, and stainless steel rod holders throughout. The cockpit features a self-bailing design, jump seats with tackle storage built in, and an upgraded leaning post with bolsters. Two insulated fish boxes and livewells keep the catch fresh.
Storage is distributed across the boat—insulated dry lockers, tackle compartments integrated into the seating, and additional storage under the gunwales. The composite construction eliminates wood rot and maintenance concerns. Sea Deck padding covers the decks for grip and comfort, while Wave Grip non-skid treatment adds safety underfoot. The boat carries a 9-person capacity.
Navigation and entertainment are handled by a Lowrance GPS chartplotter, JL Audio and Fusion stereo with speakers, and SmartCraft engine monitoring. Hydraulic steering provides smooth, responsive control. A jack plate installed within the past year allows for trim and tilt adjustments. An included single-axle trailer completes the package.
