The 2018 Boston Whaler 230 Outrage is a 23-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with foam-filled construction and a 21-degree deep V design. It runs two Mercury 150 hp four-stroke engines with approximately 950 hours of use. The boat reaches speeds to 43 knots and cruises at 33 knots, powered by electronic engine controls and supported by a Mercury Vessel View monitoring system that tracks gauges, fuel flow, temperature, and engine hours.
The boat is rigged for fishing with a factory hardtop featuring rod holders, two large fish boxes with drains, a properly sized live well, a bait station mounted on the helm seat back, and a transom door. The console is spacious and includes storage for a porta head. Additional seating consists of forward-facing seats with storage, a transom seat, and flip-up bolster seats at the helm. The gunwale height is comfortable for working the deck, and the deck layout provides easy access throughout.
Electronics include a Raymarine 12-inch hybrid touch multifunction display, an 8-inch Raymarine MFD, HD radar, and VHF radio. A Fusion stereo system provides entertainment. The boat comes with a Venture dual axle aluminum I-beam trailer rated for 6,250 GVWR, along with fenders, dock lines, and life jackets.
