The 2018 Boston Whaler 420 Outrage is a 42-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Mercury engines rated at 1,400 total horsepower. The boat combines open-water capability with substantial creature comforts, designed for offshore fishing, diving, and extended cruising.
The expansive layout features a convertible helm and cockpit area with full air-conditioning and removable enclosure, innovative bow seating, and drop-down helm standing platform. Below deck, the cabin includes a V-berth with seven feet of headroom, enclosed head with shower, galley with refrigerator, freezer, and microwave, and climate control throughout. An aft summer kitchen with dual grills, dual refrigerators, and sink extends entertaining space topside.
Equipment is comprehensive. Navigation and fish-finding systems include three Raymarine 15-inch displays, open array radar with satellite weather, and autopilot. The boat is fitted with a Seakeeper gyroscope stabilizer, 12kW Panda Fisher diesel generator, stainless anchor windlass, dynamic trim tabs, electric aft sunshade with Sunbrella canvas, fold-down trolling seats, teak cockpit tables, livewell, underwater lights, outriggers, and a dive door with boarding ladder. A premium audio package and flat-screen television are included.
The hull was recently repainted in Abaco Blue. Engine service is current through February 2026, as are the generator and stabilizer. Low engine hours are noted on the 420.
