This 2018 Catana Bali 4.1 is a cruising catamaran built by the French Catana shipyard, designed to balance sailing performance with onboard comfort. The 40-foot fiberglass hull spans nearly 23 feet across the beam, powered by twin 80-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines that deliver a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots.
The interior accommodates four double cabins and two heads, each with manual toilets and showers. The saloon features a configurable dinette that converts to a double bed, a galley with sink, gas cooktop, refrigerator and oven, and a chart table. Light oak finishes throughout the interior. The forward bow cockpit includes a convertible sundeck or dining table with direct galley access via hatch.
Navigation and onboard systems include a Raymarine suite with autopilot, wind indicator, log, and dual-station chart plotter, complemented by a magnetic compass, VHF radio, and electric windlass with chain counter. Power comes from multiple battery banks with charger, shore power connection, and 220V and 12V internal sockets throughout. Interior amenities comprise hot water boiler, electric toilets, AM/FM and Fusion stereo systems, television, and USB charging points in each cabin. Exterior features include a full cushion set, swimming ladder, tender garage with electric hauling cradle, external shower, and waterproof cockpit speakers.
The boat carries a full suite of canvas: a battened mainsail, self-tacking jib with bowsprit, and furling systems for mainsail and gennaker, supported by two Antal XT40 winches with electric remote and one Lewmar winch. Fenders, lines, halyards, and safety equipment are included.
